| From Springfield, Boston, Vermont, and New Hampshire |
Connect with Mass. Pike. Head west on Mass. Pike (Route 90) and remain on it when it turns into the New York State Thruway. Take the Taconic State Parkway Exit off the Thruway and head South. Take the Route 217/Philmont/Harlemville exit off the TSP. Go right at the end of the exit ramp. HVF is 1½ miles east; Farm and Farm Store are on the left.

Head North on I–95, over the Geo. Washington Bridge. Head North on Route 87 (Major Deegan Expressway). From Route 87, take the Taconic State Parkway North. Take the Route 217/Philmont/Harlemville exit off the TSP. Go right at the end of the exit ramp. HVF is 1½ miles east; Farm and Farm Store are on the left.

Follow signs to Boston (Interstate 90 East). Take Exit B–2 for the Taconic State Parkway. Head South on TSP and follow as for coming from Boston. |
| From New York City |
Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 21; follow signs for Route 23 East and stay on Route 23 over the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Follow Route 23 East to the 2nd traffic light (approx. 5 miles), which is intersection of Routes 9H, 23, and 82. Make a left at the light onto 9H/23. Follow for 4 miles into town of Claverack. At light, make a right onto Route 23 East. Follow approx. 1½ miles. Take a left onto Route 217, which branches off to the left at the State Trooper Barracks (there is a sign for Philmont). Follow Route 217 through the town of Philmont and continue until it passes under the Taconic State Parkway, at which point the road changes to route 21C. The Farm is 1½ miles from where the TSP crosses the road; the Farm and Farm Store will be on your left. |
