Volunteering
The process of
collecting data is just as important as the data itself. If we can
involve other people in gathering information with us, then those are
additional people who will care about the results.
We hope volunteering with us gives you a chance to learn about an
aspect
of your natural world. We do ask
for a regular committment (otherwise, it is difficult for us to plan)
and, during some times of year, we don't have
as many
opportunities as we do during other periods.
Currently, volunteers are
helping us study native bees, assemble a mosaic of early aerial
photographs, identify bat calls, and look at spiders. During the summer
months, volunteers help us explore our field sites. If you are
interested, then please get in touch, and we can discuss what might
work
best for all of us. (Click here
