Consulting 
While
a portion of our research is
self-determined, we also offer consulting services. Our specialty is
the interaction of agricultural uses and habitat for native species; we
have also done ecological mapping of public and private natural areas
with a focus on plants and select animal groups (cruise these web pages
for examples of our work). We do quantitative or qualitative surveys
depending on your needs. We
provide
illustrated reports supplemented with relevant mapping and historical
research. A common thread through most our work is how the history
of land use influnces what you see today. These projects
can
address institutional needs (e.g., the management of public areas) or
personal
ones (e.g., a desire to know one’s own property better).
